Impact Report 2024!

Childhood prevents child sexual abuse and exploitation. We do this in partnership with passionate pioneers, grassroots organizations, companies, foundations, and other stakeholders who share our vision of a world where no child is sexually abused. We’re now summarizing 2024, a year in which we:

  • Invested 8.3 million USD in 137 projects across ten countries.
  • Paved the way for innovations in perpetration prevention.
  • Enabled, together with Swedish police and others, a global hackathon to develop a tool that helps law enforcement working with online sexual exploitation of children.
  • Inaugurated the 11th Childhood-Haus in Germany.
  • Enabled the first U.S. helpline of its kind for young people with concern about their sexual thoughts and behavior.
  • Participated in the first global ministerial conference on ending all violence against children.
  • Attended the declaration of intent to open the first Barnahus in Brazil, a milestone and something we have advocated for.
  • Shared insights and results from our AI work at the WeProtect Global Alliance Global Summit.
  •  Intensified our work in war-torn Ukraine, including efforts to reform institutional care for children.
  • Contributed to direct support and strengthened protection for 115,000 children.
