On the 27-29th of January, our Secretary General, Paula Guillet de Monthoux, and Deputy Honorary Chair, HRH Princess Madeleine, participated in strategy and goal-setting sessions with Mary L. Pulido, Ph.D. and board members of World Childhood Foundation USA.
They also visited The New York Foundling, a Childhood USA partner that provides innovative online prevention workshops to middle school students. During these workshops, trained facilitators cover digital safety, consent, respecting boundaries, healthy relationships, empathy, and responsible photo sharing.
HRH Princess Madeleine reflected on the visit to the The New York Foundling:
”This visit was a powerful reminder of the importance of investing in initiatives that equip children to navigate the digital world safely. At Childhood, we are actively driving this change, ensuring that solutions evolve alongside the challenges and opportunities children face today.”
From our offices in Sweden, Brazil, Germany, and the US, we act as a global force—impacting the lives of millions of children and their families. Sharing knowledge and best practices on how to protect children is fundamental to our work.
