The On The Right Track Program, launched in Brazil in 2006, is our pioneering initiative to prevent and tackle sexual exploitation of children along the main highways in Brazil. By combining research and innovation the initiative has mobilized people, companies, and corporate entities, as well as civil society organizations and governments, to form a “Circle of Protection.” The goal is to collaboratively develop intersectoral solutions to positively impact children and adolescents, giving visibility to sexual exploitation, and enabling everyone to work as child protection agents.
So far more than one million truck drivers have enrolled in the initiative. More than 2,000 companies and corporate entities are reached, positively influencing attitudes and behaviors among their employees. By enrolling, the companies make a public and voluntary commitment to guarantee respect, and support, children’s rights.
